Long Course Singles Race: Men: Junior Men <18; Open Men 18-39; Master Men 40-49; Senior Master Men 50-59; Golden Master Men 60+. Women: Open (no age divisions)
Short Course Singles Race: Men and Women
Double Surfski Race: Men, Women and Mixed
Ages for divisions are determined by age on August 13, 2011.
RACE FEES
Standard Registration Fees (entries received after July 29th):
$110 – Single Surfski Event only
$110 – Double Surfski Event only (per paddler)
$140 – Single and Double Event
Shuttle from Berkeley Doubletree to Fort Baker start
$10 – one way
Entry fees include a racing jersey for the first 100 registrants. All participants will receive a pre-race pasta dinner on Friday night, and a post-race meal after their races(s). Friends and family can purchase a meal ticket for Saturday’s dinner for $10 (children under 12 are free).
REGISTRATION AND EARLY CHECK-IN
Registration, early check in, and a pre-race reception for all racers, guests, and volunteers will be held at the OCSC Sailing Club from 5:30 to 8 pm on Friday, August 12. The OCSC is a short walk from the Berkeley Marina Doubletree Hotel. Here are driving directions.
RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN
Saturday: Registration is 9:30am until noon at Fort Baker, Sausalito. All pre-registered racers must check in on Friday or Saturday before the pre-race meeting.
Sunday: Registration is 9:00am until 10:30am for the doubles race at Fort Baker, Sausalito. Both team members must be present and paid at time of registration to be issued a race number.
Racers are responsible for organizing their own shuttles from Berkeley to Sausalito, though we will try to have volunteers available to assist out-of-town paddlers.
HOW TO REGISTER
Day of Registration: Download and complete the registration form and waiver, and bring both completed forms with you on Friday or Saturday as noted above.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
