Registration

Single surfski races (long and short courses) will be held on Saturday, and Sunday will be double skis (one course), as well as a relay race consisting of 4 racers per crew. The relay race is open to single outrigger canoes.

Lunch will be served on site for all registered paddlers after the races each day. Saturday's race will finish at the OCSC Sailing in Berkeley, and Sunday's races will begin and end at Shorebird Park. Both locations are located in the Berkeley Marina and within walking distance of the host hotel, The Doubletree Berkeley Marina. USSSC group rate room reservations: http://tinyurl.com/USSSC-Hotel

Race Fees

Postmarked or paid by August 9, 2010: Entry fee is $90 per racer for one race (singles or doubles), or $120 if racing both singles and doubles.

Postmarked or paid after August 9, 2010: Late registration fees are $110 for one race (singles or doubles), or $140 if racing both singles and doubles.

Relay race fees are $20 per racer.

Entry fees for the singles and doubles races include a racing jersey for the first 100 registrants, and a goody bag (one per person).

Divisions

3 entries constitute a division:

Singles Race: Open Men 18-39; Master Men 40-49; Senior Master Men 50+; Women (no age divisions). Ages are determined by actual age on race day.

Doubles Race: Men, Women, Coed (no age divisions)

Relay: Surfskis, Outriggers: Men, Women, Mixed
(no age divisions)

Registration Check-In on Race Day

Registration on Saturday will begin at 8 am and end 30 minutes prior to race start times at Fort Baker, Sausalito. The short course will run first and separately from the long course.

Registration on Sunday will take place at Berkeley at Shorebird Park and shall begin at 7:30 am and end at 8:30 am for the doubles course and at 11 am for the relay. All team members must be present and paid at time of registration to be issued a race number.

Early Registration Check-In on Friday

An early registration pick-up and reception for all racers, guests, and volunteers will be held at the OCSC Sailing Club from 5:30 to 8 pm on Friday, August 20. Registration forms should be mailed with Waiver and Check (payable to "Wavechaser") to: USSSC, c/o 2539 California Street, Berkeley, CA 94703-1842.

International paddlers, please contact Helen Workman, Registration Coordinator, before submitting or sending payments for instructions.

If paying via Paypal, a completed registration form and a waiver must still be mailed to the address above, or sent as an attachment to Registration@Wavechaser.com
